The present research article, retakes emotional and social intelligence as a fundamental element in the research processes, where the teacher with in the Faculties of Education are trying to graduate better teachers for the future. The methodology applied was descriptive-correlational design and a non-experimentalcross-sectional design with a probabilistic approach with a sample of 150 participants from ten official and private educational institutions in the Republic of Colombia, to whom were given a self-administered questionnaire of IIESS (emotional intelligence inventory). The principal finding focuses in the aptitude to combine adequately the management of the emotional intelligence with the practical knowledge; therefore, to recognize the emotional intelligence and how this one intervenes in the processes of research that influence wisdom in different contexts.
