This Summary work analyzes the political and citizen participation of the young people in the Nuevo Leon State, Mexico. For it elements are approached nails like the construction of citizenship in Mexico and particularly in this federal state, as well as the social public policy towards the youthful sector. Part of the concept of participation like all collective action of determined individuals oriented to the satisfaction of objective, and of public policy like the governmental actions product of an emanated public agenda of the citizen demands. For the effects of this work, they are the young people and the participation the orientation concepts, reason why that the institutional aspects of them are important for the analysis. Of there then that the objective of the article is to again show an approach of the level of joint of the political participation as much citizen of this sector of the society with the youthful social public policies of Nuevo Leon State.
