Abstract

SERRANO MOYA, Edgar David. Familia y teoría de juegos. Rev.latinoam.cienc.soc.niñez juv [online]. 2006, vol.4, n.2, pp.131-166. ISSN 1692-715X.

This research report is centered on explaining the choices that take place in the family. The work is based on cooperative games and the processes of negotiation, both of which can be applied in the field of Family Economics, as they make it possible to analyze certain family interactions, particularly those negotiations related to the distribution of resources in the home. This paper describes the main negotiation models that appear in the literature on family economics. Their general theoretical elements are described, as well as their formal structure and the theoretical implications of their possible use.

Keywords : Family; cooperative games; Nash solution; negotiation; decisions; fairness in the family.
