Abstract

This paper collects the results of the research project, which was developed through case study, trying to respond to questions about the relation between school and other institutions that take part in it, according to the development of public policies for children and adolescents, and about the institutional changes required to boost children and adolescents integral development. The findings are directed at intersectoral working from a common space to create the new "Children and Adolescents Institution" as an "intermediate institution" that mediates in the processes between local communities and national government policies and programs to achieve a coordinated work.
