Resumen

OSPINA-ALVARADO, María Camila  y  GALLO, Linda Brigitte. Systemic intervention: transformation in institutionalized children and youths identity narratives. Rev.latinoam.cienc.soc.niñez juv [online]. 2011, vol.9, n.2, pp.827-846. ISSN 1692-715X.

This article was built around a systemic intervention with children, youths, families and professionals. It is based on the second investigation objective consistent in the co-construction of alternative identity narratives. It attempts to fill a theoretical vacuum in systemic clinical interventions in the context of protection institutions. The methodological design was a qualitative multiple-case study through categorical narrative analysis. It was concluded that starting from the systemic intervention, which was oriented towards the enlargement of identity narratives by means of externalization, resignification, future orientation, search for resources and exceptions, and towards the establishment of an alternative therapeutic relationship, it was possible to construct identity narratives about children and youths based on leadership and cooperation.

Palabras clave : Systemic intervention; children and youths in vulnerability situation; youth detention center; identity; narratives and interactions.
