Even more, which constitutes essentially our age, is manifested particularly clearly in this youth culture in perpetual growth in Japan since the 1980S'. This phenomenon represents today a colossal market that extends rapidly to the rest of the world. This work begins by exposing the magnitude of the phenomenon at a commercial level. Then we explain that what constitutes in essence the so-called post-modern structures of society is clearly observed in this culture. Finally, we explain the social factors underlying the Japanese otakism.
