Abstract

This article shows how Van Emeeren & Grotendorst's argumentative proposal, called Pragma-Dialectics Argumentation, has common elements with Santos's Rhetorica Novissima, providing this perspective theoretical and methodological elements from Text Linguistics, Critical Discourse Analysis and Pragmatics, which are required in order to be able to carry out a possible validation of knowledge-emancipation from postmodernist perspective.
