The aim of this article is to analyze children's opinions and suggestions about leisure and sports in the City of Maringá-PR (Brazil). The results show that they are unsatisfied with the spaces and equipment existent to their leisure and their rights are violated. Based on the children's proposals, we concluded that it is extremely necessary the activation of the Protection and Caring of Infancy Network in the city to the offering of leisure and sports public policies which guarantees the right of children and also includes them in the decisions about public policies to the childhood in the city.
