ALBARRAN, Griselda  e  TARACENA-RUIZ, Bertha Elvia. The involvement of educators of children at risk of becoming street-kids: an analysis from methodology proposed by clinical sociology. Rev.latinoam.cienc.soc.niñez juv [online]. 2012, vol.10, n.2, pp.957-970. ISSN 1692-715X.

Abstract: Children at risk of becoming street-kids indicate an issue that can lead to social disengagement in ever-widening sectors inhabited throughout childhood and youth. Various organizations have tried to support these children and foster their relationships with the school as the primary means of attachment and social cohesion. The teacher becomes a leading figure of the proposed link between aid organizations and the child who starts the process of becoming a street-kid. In their daily activities, the teacher not only use their professional skills and capabilities, but is also involved as socio-historical subject and engages in affective, symbolic and phantasmatic records with students while addressing the educational organization In this article, we will discuss this relationship - the social and affective components of the involvement of educators with children at risk of becoming street-kids through their educational work. Participation in a workshop based on the Research Group of Investigation and Involvement (GII) as proposed from Clinical Sociology supported the work.
