Abstract (analytical): The prostitution of girls and teenagers is one of the most visible forms of commercial sexual exploitation. It is both a crime and a violation their human rights, it damages their physical and emotional health, and it addition it is a cause for social stigma and discrimination. Ethnographicinterviews were used in order to know the discourses related with the prostitution of girls and teenagers. The critical analysis of the discourses that ten young and adult merchants reproduce on this topic allowed for the identification of the social and cultural presuppositions that validate the inequitable use of power to the disadvantage of the girls and teenagers forced into prostitution, while the exploiters are justified and exonerated. The scope of the research focuses on the identification of the elements for prevention, which can be extracted from these discourses.
