Abstract

The article describes the employment of graduates of the Master of Education from the University of Tolima compared to other universities, with the analysis window the period between 2009 and 2013. Initially deals with some conceptual and normative order considerations on graduates and the importance of evaluating the impact of a graduate work in them. The methodology is based on the processing and analysis of data provided by the Labor Observatory for Education. The conclusions include the graduate profile has high correspondence with the field performance of graduates, since education and administration of the education system are the two activities with the highest percentage of graduates linked to formal employment, and 24% 64% respectively.
