Abstract

DE OLIVEIRA MOREIRA, Jacqueline et al. Cecilia's infraction trajectory: a case study from a psychoanalytic perspective. Rev.latinoam.cienc.soc.niñez juv [online]. 2020, vol.18, n.3, pp.1-23. ISSN 1692-715X.  https://doi.org/10.11600/1692715x.18301.

In view of the scarcity of works that deal with the involvement of girls and women with crime, we aim to present a case study of female delinquency, extracted from the partial results of the research «Life course and delinquent trajectory: an exploratory study of events and narratives of vulnerable young people». We will use the theoretical perspective of psychoanalysis in order to analyze the Individual Service Plan, the semi-structured interview and the Narrative Memoir of a young woman we call Cecilia, in honor of the Brazilian poet Cecilia Meireles. It is a brown woman who was sexually abused in childhood, became a mother in adolescence and had her partners killed for involvement in crime. Also entangled in criminality, she seeks refuge and guidance in an Afro religion.

Keywords : Case study; Psychoanalysis; Woman and society; Teenager in conflict with the law.
