Abstract

RODRIGUEZ, Juan Carlos. Adopting a position that seems inappropriate: Is it a postural bad habit or is it part of the normal development of the position?. Rev. Cienc. Salud [online]. 2003, vol.1, n.1, pp.58-67. ISSN 1692-7273.

Children adopt different postures as a normal consequence of their development, sometimes these attitudes are erroneously called postural vicious. This article summarizes the children postural development, explains why most of the positions adopted by children are normal, and invite health professionals to analyze critically postures before categorizing them as a postural vicious.
