CAICEDO ORTIZ, José Gregorio; ACOSTA COLL, Melisa Andrea e CAMA-PINTO, Alejandro. WSN deployment model for measuring climate variables that cause strong precipitation. Prospect. [online]. 2015, vol.13, n.1, pp.106-115. ISSN 1692-8261. https://doi.org/10.15665/rp.v13i1.365.
There are different methods and designs to get data from environmental variables such as temperature, atmospheric pressure and humidity that influence on rainfalls causing floods. One of those methods are the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) to monitor the physical variables in real time. Colombia is one of the most affected Latin American countries due the consequences of climate change, particularly in south zone of the Atlantic department. Therefore, here is presented a deployment model of a WSN to measure variables that influence flooding in the south zone of Atlantic department, considering the topography and climate of this site.
