GOMEZ ECHEVERRY, Lesly Lisbeth et al. Human motion capture and analysis systems: a systematic review. Prospect. [online]. 2018, vol.16, n.2, pp.24-34. ISSN 1692-8261.  https://doi.org/10.15665/rp.v16i2.1587.

Human movement has been the subject of a large number of investigations, mainly within the biomedical sciences, sports science and 3D animation. Due to the large amount of available technologies in the market, a technological surveillance is necessary in order to establish the main advantages and drawbacks, applications and state of the art, considering studies on the use of technologies in Colombia. In this work, a literature review on these topics was performed following the standards of the PRISMA and PRISMA P-2015 methodologies. It was found that movement analysis technologies are divided between optical, inertial and magnetic, where the optical systems appeared to be the most reported. The Vicon technology is the most used, since it can be used in a high number of applications. Regarding Colombia, the literature review suggests that a low number of studies have addressed on the topic, hence the need to improve the proficiency at both academic and industrial levels.
