Abstract

CASTANEDA, Erika. THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE POLITICAL SUBJET AN APPROACH TO THE MUSICAL WORK OF EMIR KUSTURICA & THE NO SMOKING ORCHESTRA, FROM THE WORK OF JACQUES RANCIÈREE. Eidos [online]. 2008, n.8, pp.212-221. ISSN 1692-8857.

This paper discusses how the proposed musical Emir Kusturica & the no smoking orchestra, creates new forms of perception on situations of armed conflict (war in Bosnia-Herzegovina) and exclusion (relationship with the community Rom), which change completely imaginary imposed by the media about such phenomena. This is seen from the view of aesthetic theory and policy Renciere Jacques, who believes that the purpose of politics is to make visible the failure of an universal order that can pick up all parts of society.
