This article presents a proposal based on an analysis of the engineering competencies that are proposed in different models of competencies in higher education, such as the American model Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) and the competency model established by the Ministry of Education Higher education in Spain, and a comparison is made with the competences defined by Icfes for the evaluations Saber Pro, based on the evaluations designed to measure the achievements and competences of the next ones to graduate from the different academic programs, through the modules that are designed according to the engineering profession of systems, to identify how close they are to the most elaborate and known models in the world.
