Before the National Administration Resolution 343/09 which established the accredtiation on undergraduate programs, each university freely established its own requeriments for graduation. In the Province of San Juan, in the west of the country, there is only one undergraduate program in Psychology, at Catholic University of Cuyo, with established the requirement of a little dissertation or thesis for obtaining the degree in Psychology. We analyzed 41 theses from 1970-1995 focused on the study the childhood and teen. From the methodological point of view, this is an ex post facto retrospective study, mixing both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The paper analyzes the contents of the thesis from a qualitative historiographical perspective while quantitatively analyzed all of the references of each thesis trying to analyze the highest impact authors detect both as publishers or periodicals mainly cited by the thesis, seniority average of the literature as well as language of literature.
