Abstract

JARAMILLO MARIN, JEFFERSON. Public Politics for Attention to the Displaced Population in Colombia: Emergency, Constitution and Crisis in a Field of Discursive Practices. Tabula Rasa [online]. 2007, n.6, pp. 309-338. ISSN 1794-2489.

In this article the author offers a critical approach to the logics and practices behind the production and reproduction of the Colombian policy for the attention to the displaced population (1997-2007). That policy is conceived as a discursive field, in which it is possible to identify the way that the National government represents forced displacement. The article's main argument is based on the Bourdieuan notion of field. In methodological terms, the Critical Analysis of Discourse is used to analyze the variation of discourse in the policy for the attention to the displaced population.

Keywords : public policy; forced displacement; discursive field; Critical Analysis of Discourse.
