Abstract

GARCES, Helios F.. Anti-rom/anti-gypsy racism and the decolonial choice. Tabula Rasa [online]. 2016, n.25, pp.225-251. ISSN 1794-2489.

This paper intends to locate the emergence of anti-gypsy racism within the framework of genocide/epistemicide upon which modernity is been built from a decolonial approach. It serves the history and present life of Gypsy Rom people as a long-standing racialized community, all over since the emergence of the first modern nation-State, the Spanish empire.

Keywords : romofobia; internal colonialism; decolonial; racism.
