Abstract

CINTO, Agustina  and  LILLI, Licia María. Anthropological Research and Political Engagement: Theoretical-Methodological Reflections from Fieldwork with Grassroots Organizations in the City of Rosario (Argentina). Tabula Rasa [online]. 2022, n.43, pp.67-96.  Epub Mar 21, 2022. ISSN 1794-2489.

This article analyses a set of theoretical-methodological aspects linked to the relationship between social knowledge production and political engagement, stemming from our experience in anthropological research with organizations. Aiming to define some potentials and challenges brought upon this specific fieldwork, we drew from our ongoing doctoral studies, funded by the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (Conicet), inquiring about two separate thematic fields in the city of Rosario (Santa Fe province, Argentina).

Keywords : anthropological research; political engagement; grassroots organizations; fieldwork; Rosario.
