Abstract

The main objective of the article was to analyze the propensity to suicide in young university students and its relationship with the practices of social inclusion and exclusion. To this end, a documentary review was carried out, methodologically promoted from a comparative analysis of 20 scientific researches found in databases such as Scopus, ScienceDirect and PubMed. From this, literary constructs are configured regarding a relationship and influence between the practices of inclusion, social exclusion and suicide in young university students. Finally, it was concluded that social aspects are of great relevance for the psychological well-being or discomfort of young people and can act both as risk factors and protective factors against this phenomenon.
