This article aims to analyze the docudrama "Killer Women", broadcast on the Discovery Channel, which are retold stories of women who committed homicide. This docudrama is investigated in two respects: firstly, it will be analyzed as its form, ie. what visual elements present in the program may take it to be classified as a docudrama. For this research, will be used, primarily, the concepts of reproduction and representation by Bill Nichols (2012). Thus, after performing this exam will be taken from the program two images and, from them, a semiotic analysis is performed, considering the many signs present in these images. This program, which has as its central theme stories of women who commit murders, is also divided by subjects, ie, in each episode reproduces a different story, featuring several reasons that led to the occurrence of homicide. In this sense, this research will analyze the episode of women who committed crimes due to strong emotions like anger, love, despair, greed etc. Thus, also under the same episode count three distinct stories, only one case is chosen to be examined. It is intended, through this work, note that there is freedom in the docudrama film recounts the story according to the director's vision and yet still retains the desire to be faithful to reality. So for this to be possible, it is necessary that the director makes use of many indexical signs for the viewer has the feeling of being on a true story, when in fact these images are believed.
