ORTIZ OCANA, Alexander y ARIAS LOPEZ, María Isabel. Hacer decolonial: desobedecer a la metodología de investigación. Hallazgos [online]. 2019, vol.16, n.31, pp.147-166. ISSN 1794-3841. https://doi.org/10.15332/s1794-3841.2019.0031.06.
In this article, we reflect on the urgency of decolonizing the social sciences. It is necessary to create “other” ways of thinking, feeling and existing, which require constituting new types of knowledge and new “sciences”, whose categorical structure is based on the knowledge of the other, considered inferior, and not only in the episteme of the modern/colonial logos, considered superior. We characterize the decolonial doing, which is deployed through its constitutive actions/footsteps: communal contemplation, alternate conversing and configurative reflection, that characterize the decolonial vocation, which allows the detachment of the research methodology.
