Abstract

RODRIGUEZ ORTIZ, Angélica María  and  NARANJO GIRALDO, José Jesús. Transparency as a necessary principle in bioethics and its relationship with the worlds of science, technology and society. Rev. Lasallista Investig. [online]. 2014, vol.11, n.1, pp.103-109. ISSN 1794-4449.

The diverse and new professional, scientific, techno-scientific and bio technological practices challenge us to think about the sufficiency of the bioethical principles. This essay gathers, beyond the four traditional principles, the proposals of thinkers such as Jonas and Kauffmann, and also proposes transparency as a complement to justice, which could assure clean practices to provide life quality, conservation, preservation and propagation.

Keywords : bioethics; transparency; science; technology & society; biotechnological practices.
