Abstract

ARBOLEDA LOPEZ, Adriana Patricia. Virtual interdisciplinary conciliation. Rev. Lasallista Investig. [online]. 2015, vol.12, n.2, pp.84-93. ISSN 1794-4449.

Introduction. The world of law has been influenced, as also has every aspect of social life, by the revolution brought by the information exchange through technologies, according to Bueno (2011, 85). The juridical world faces the challenges represented by the technological advances of the digital era and, therefore, virtual conciliation becomes one of the most advanced juridical ways. It is known as an alternative mechanism to solve conflicts at a constitutional level, complementing the juridical apparatus, to solve social and juridical conflicts through voluntary agreements in certified conciliation and arbitration centers monitored by the Ministry of Justice and Law, with no necessity of using the juridical traditional process, which is onerous, takes long periods of time and is difficult. Objective. Praise virtual conciliation as a free, rapid and efficient mechanism for solving juridical conflicts. Materials and methods. The deductive-analytic method was applied for this research work, investigating about the application of virtual conciliation in the conciliation and arbitration centers and taking Medellín as a sample. Results. The partial results found in the research are centered on the lack of an agreement culture among the juridical operators and in the society in general. Conclusion. Conciliation, made with the use of technological devices, provides new advantages among which economy, swiftness and flexibility are usually praised, thus achieving dialogs to solve juridical conflicts.
