Introduction:

Breast cancer is one of the diseases that has grown over the years, currently affecting even young people under 30 years. As a treatment, mastectomy is used, which releases variants in its procedure depending on the case. The problem lies in the fact that this procedure involves biomechanical alterations.

Objective:

Of the present work is to identify, through physical, muscular and functional exploration, the biomechanical alterations of the upper train present in post-mastectomy patients.

Materials and methods:

Of the present work are clinical histories, Daniels modifies muscle strength test. Postural test, functional semiological tests, plumb, grid and Microsoft Word and Excel. The present research work is of a deductive nature with a quantitative approach and descriptive scope, of non-experimental and transversal design. The population universe evaluated corresponds to 80 women post mastectomy.

Results:

Obtained show the presence of several biomechanical alterations where the scapular projection with 55% and the instability of the shoulder valued by the functional semiological test of the Groove with a positive 60%, followed by scoliosis and all the alterations she carries 53%.

Conclusion:

It is evident the presence of biomechanical alterations in post-mastectomy women consistent with a period of considerable immobilization, which should be modified by performing a correct and early Physiotherapy protocol.
