The use of biofeedback in the spinal cord injury person rehabilitation has been increasing even though there are no data about the efficacy of such technique. The study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of the technique in the motor rehabilitation of spinal cord injured patients with different lesions. Using case studies, three participants, two paraplegics and one quadriplegic, with different lesion levels and degrees of deficiency were exposed to electromyography biofeedback training sessions. Data were obtained from the training sessions with biofeedback, from three manual test examinations of the muscles straight and from the reports of the participants after the training process. These sources of data were compared and the results of all the three different sources showed improvement for all the participants. The study concluded that the electromyography biofeedback technique can be an important tool in the rehabilitation process of patients with this kind of lesion.
