Paul Ricoeur claims that in the poem language is festive. Making this declaration the starting point and adding elements taken from literary theory and hermeneutics, the poem is proposed as an example of celebrative language. This article renders a reading of "Cuestión de estadísticas" by Piedad Bonnet making use of this conception in order to develop within a concrete example the potency of the lyrical text conceived as celebration.
