This reflection shows how since the sixties Amílcar Osorio has used his artistic practice in pursuit of the deinstitutionalization of literature and art by pla-cing his aesthetic objectives not only in words as a narrative and poetic possibility but also in the use of space and the visual, as well as life itself as an artistic resource. This is how the author blurs the lines of the existing boundaries between literature and visual and action arts. He produces what can be currently dee-med as an intermedia practice by engaging in strategies typical of conceptual art that allow him to connect daily life, literature, and ideas as artistic expression, images, and performance.
