In this paper we want to present an ethnographic description of the process of construction of El Oasis, a settlement near to the Ciénaga Grande de Santa Marta, that was made by a local community after be forced to move from Trojas de Cataca by paramilitar groups. The ethnographic description propose a way to think the case remarking the necessity of analyse the impacts of inner conflict in the local communities, as well the local responses to those impacts. For this reasons, and following several authors, we propose to analize this phenomenon under the paradigms of the des-territorialization as a concept that describe some issues at modernity, and the concept of re-territoriality as a key to understand the spaciality of local communities.
