The aim of the present study is to know the characteristics the submission in the kidnapping by money committed by groups the margin of the law, surveying to professionals who work in the groups of unified action for personal freedom «GAULA», military man and National Police. A descriptive design of nonexperimental, cross sectional type was used. The hypothesis of the study looks for to verify the existence of differences in the strategies used by different illegal groups to put under to their victims. The results allowed to establish that the existence of differences in submission characteristics in kidnappings by money, do not depend on the detector group's organization, but on their operations place, independently of this membership to an organization, for the case of the subversion and the self-defense forces.
