Fertility and conception problems have been treated habitually in its biomedical dimensions. However, these problems every day demand greater intervention of interdisciplinary teams that allows an integral attention, because conception impossibility is not only associated to biophysical limitations. This article is developed around three topics: first, biomedical dimension of unfertility and approaches proposed by Psychology to understand the implications of this phenomenon; second, couple, emphasizing positions oriented to discern its nature, its' operation forms and conditions that move them to change; third, related to narrative like possibility to understand and interpret the clinical phenomena, among them, couples experiences with attended fertility processes.
