Abstract

The interest by the study of the organizational climate has grown quickly during the past few years, since the organizations through the implementation of quality management systems and the inclusion of this subject in the management indicators, have assumed it like one of the basic elements to generate improvement continuous. Thus, the objective of this article is to present the panorama of the organizational climate (CO) studies in Bogotá, D.C. (Colombia), found in institutions of superior education (10) and public libraries (2), since 1994 to 2005. 168 documents were reviewed from which were taken, as bases for the present article, 83 related to work and organizational psychology and areas related with human management. Of these works, 67 correspond to degree works, 11 scientific articles and 15 books. This revision allowed identifying the different defitions, the most representative authors mentioned in the consulted works, the factors associated to the study of the organizational climate, the used instruments to measure it and the boarding of the subject that becomes from different disciplines in the study object context.
