Abstract

This research aimed to evaluate associations between neuropsyhological and emotional states in 157 children 8-11 years old going to district schools of the city of Bogotá, Colombia. It is a descriptive research with a method of association between neuropsychological and emotional states. The following instruments were used: ENI for the cognitive processes, the CMAS-R for anxiety and CDI for depression. Results indicated that of the 10 processes evaluated 7 exhibit below-average rating, also no presence of anxiety and depression was found and there was no association between the neuropsychological and emotional states.
