Abstract

This scientific article shows the results got in the process of the Teaching Investigation Project called "Self-regulation mechanism in feasible couples that last over time". It is based on a psychologist complex sight, which is also based on the epistemology of the construction. Within the methodological sphere, it is registered in the family therapy studies, taken from Human Communication perspective as a whole. Nine couples participated. The criteria to involve these people were: five or more year of coexistence, free will participation, do not have (or have not had presented) especial problems related to psychotherapy intervention and to get a meaningful percentage in the usage of strategies to communicate in an assertive way, to solve conflicts It was used the general method related to the analysis of communication in the Task of Conversation. The main findings point to a closer relationship, among the couples context of development, the coming up of self-communication codes, and the possibility to last over time. It is also highlight the kind of communication, assertive or constructive, the values foundation like the respect and the acceptation of differences; the desire to live and to build a common welfare, as the principal bases of their identity as a couple.
