Currently facing the different situations of indecision in populations represents an important factor in the psychological component that must be evaluated. The purpose of this psychometric study was to validate the Intolerance towards Uncertainty Scale (IUS), for using in the colombian population. This instrument was applied to a non-probability sample of 484 participants, from different cities in Colombia. In the psychometric analysis, the Rasch model was used from the Item Response Theory. It is concluded that the Spanishadjusted scale can be considered valid and reliable, and meets criteria for psychometric quality, with a high Cronbach's Alpha, the level reported from the Rasch model is the expected, an appropriate level of adjustment.
