Abstract

The phenomenon of human displacement has become one of the key public health interventions, but in studies on population Colombians displaced by armed conflict has not been an emphasis on the impact on mental health. This study aimed to characterize 110 people in situation of displacement in the village of Ciudad Bolívar (Bogotá, Colombia) likely to manifest PTSD boxes. Through descriptive analysis and a logistic regression model was established the prevalence of PTSD. The age of the displaced evaluated ranged between 19 and 74, Subjects averaged 38.45 years, SD 13.44, variance 180.70. It was concluded that the prevalence of PTSD in the town is 97.27%, without significant differences by gender in the presentation. The shift is caused by harassment in higher proportion of guerrilla groups; there are significant differences in the presentation of the table with respect to employment status and perceived quality of life.
