Abstract
TORO OROZCO, Carlos Mario and RAMIREZ AGUDELO, Clara Hilda. Corporate management in the associated work cooperative, Recuperar CTA. Entramado [online]. 2012, vol.8, n.2, pp.94-104. ISSN 1900-3803.
In the associated work cooperative (Spanish acronym: CTA) Recuperar [Recover], the effectiveness of the coordination between the corporate management and the connection of the associates to the effective and efficient solution of a prioritized social problem for a city, such as recycling of waste, has been demonstrated through this research. Therefore, this article shows how, on the basis of corporate management, this organization has attained an economic and social projection which has made it possible to fulfill the needs of its members, establishing a results-oriented managerial culture which has contributed to the permanence of said organization in the solidarity sector, as an example of management and social projection. The methodology used is a qualitative study based on the analysis of various aspects in order to establish the mechanisms of corporate management. The results make it possible to observe that its growth and permanence over time has been obtained through coherence with cooperative values, equality, and solidarity with the market needs; participation and democratic control, and also, identity, autonomy, and independence for its members.
