Abstract

This paper states ethical elements of reflection on the consequences of the application of the model of science, technology and innovation adopted by Colciencias by 1286 Act of 2009, in the Colombian University. It was found from an epistemology of the South and the challenges for the placement of the subject, the need for a debate broad theme in the different fields of knowledge about the production model based on Science, technology and innovation to promote the production development and the domestic industry, given that education that is taught at colombian universities cannot be considered simply as a commodity without taking into account the social component and solidarity. It is concluded that the colombian university can incorporate decidedly ecologies of knowledges, temporalities, recognitions, trans-scales and productivities to promote a broader understanding of the world that includes new ways of being and thinking which will decrease the gap between science and society.
