Abstract

The article presents partial results of the research entitled from the popular subject to citizen subject: Imaginaries and practices from the popular neighborhood of the city of Cartagena, emphasizing the findings as to the social practices of "popular subject" and "citizen subject of rights and duties "are the first settlers and leaders of social organizations in popular neighborhoods San Francisco, Zaragocilla, La María, Republica de Venezuela, San Fernando and La Consolata Cartagena, for which information was collected through semi-structured interviews, which were analyzed through Critical Analysis of Discourses expressed, allowing aspects remain to establish, change, disappear and / or appear in these.
