Abstract

Based on the results of an ethnographic research that we are carrying out since 2008 with vulnerable population in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in this article we examine social and familiar bonds from the perspective of drug use, specifically pasta base -called paco. Particularly, we analyze the way that drug use shapes and is shaped by the characteristics of social and familiar bonds.
