Abstract

GARAY ACEVEDO, Claudia Patricia  and  REYES GARCIA, Daiana. Juegos de simulación como método de defensa en la guerraMilitary Simulations as a Defensive Method in War. Rev. Cient. Gen. José María Córdova [online]. 2012, vol.10, n.10, pp.237-255. ISSN 1900-6586.

Military simulations since the early history of mankind as well as the armed conflicts have been used in different scenarios and different armies as a teaching and knowledge tool, and especially to determine if using the immediate feedback assessment is valuable for planning and developing military operations plans, without dire consequences. Accordingly, implementation projects in this field have to deal with the use of simulation technology in order to achieve new goals, since the odds of making a mistake or success are good for improving decision making capabilities in the simulated battlefield, whose direct impact might lead, among other things, to try to extract powerful-life-lessons-learned from simulation games, even from the unintended consequences that might arise from a legal sanction

Keywords : Military simulations; Human Rights; Armed Conflicts; Life-lessons-learned.
