Resumen

AVOSANI ZAGO, Camila  y  MAYERLE, Sergio Fernando. A Quantitative Model for Measurement of Factors Affecting Logistics Lead Time. Rev. Cient. Gen. José María Córdova [online]. 2017, vol.15, n.20, pp.185-207. ISSN 1900-6586.  https://doi.org/10.21830/19006586.180.

In order to compete with constant alterations, time becomes an important competitive difference to enterprises that may decrease their logistical lead time, which means duration from the placement of the demand creation to the delivery of the client product. This article aims to identify and quantify the factors that significantly influence the logistical lead time of production systems in the metal-mechanical sector. This is done by a field survey that has been conducted based on a theoretical study of it, when the influencing factors in lead time have been established hierarchically, which were quantified on the basis of a regression model, and legitimized by a group of experts and managers. The most relevant results were: i) the use of tools for planning; ii) the reduction of time to surrender the critical materials; and iii) the elimination of rework.

Palabras clave : lead time logistic; production systems of the metal-mechanical sector; reduction of delivery time of critical materials; tools for planning.
