Abstract
QUINTERO ROJAS, Karen Lizette. Members of the public force as vicyims of the conflict and revictimization. Rev. Cient. Gen. José María Córdova [online]. 2018, vol.16, n.24, pp.109-127. ISSN 1900-6586. https://doi.org/10.21830/19006586.358.
This article exalts the recognition of the members of the Public Force as victims of the Colombian internal conflict despite the normative and jurisprudential restriction of the Law 1448 of 2011 (Par. 1, Art. 3), which overlooks the mandates of international humanitarian law and international human rights laws. These laws grant victimhood to "all persons" without discrimination and establish the State's duty to provide (for all) measures of attention, aid, and integral reparation. In the case of Colombian police and military officers, their human dignity and right to equality are being violated.
Keywords : full reparation; internal conflict; public force; revictimization; victim.
