Abstract

CORCIONE-NIETO, María Antonieta; FERNANDEZ-OSORIO, Andrés Eduardo; CABRERA-CABRERA, Leidy Johanna  and  ROJAS-YAIMA, Beyaert Camilo. Contributions of the Academy to the legitimacy of justice in Colombia. Rev. Cient. Gen. José María Córdova [online]. 2019, vol.17, n.28, pp.819-843.  Epub May 11, 2020. The legitimization of the justice in Colombia is going through one of the most delicate phases in the history of the country due to the high levels of corruption and the lack of impartiality and credibility in institutions and in actors tasked with preserving it. The primary option to reestablish the said credibility is the Academia given its calling to conduct objective research based on methods and theories with scientific grounding which do not submit to individual powers. This article presents a study on justice conducted by Colombian researchers, using bibliometric methods - which stands in stark contrast with the eight factors determined by the Global Justice Project - in order to identify the value of its insights, its value and the difficulties that are to be overcome.

Keywords : academia; bibliographic production; Colombia; justice; legitimacy; peace and conflict.
