GIL SALAZAR, Laura Catalina. Resolution 909/2008: a standard to improve the quality of air in the Aburrá Valley´s Metropolitan area. Rev. P+L [online]. 2010, vol.5, n.1, pp.27-38. ISSN 1909-0455.
The Ministerio de Ambiente, Vivienda y Desarrollo Territorial (Colombian Ministry for Environment, Housing and Territory Development) produced, in July 2008, the 909 resolution, an official document to establish the rules and standards of admissible rates for the emission of pollutants produced by stationary sources to the air, among other aspects. This regulation is effective since 2010 and has brought important and valuable changes under law and technical terms, regarding the emissions from stationary sources, the characteristics of chimneys and the facilities necessary to evaluate those emissions. The resolution includes the elements stipulated in the 760/2010 resolution, which adopts a protocol to control and monitor the air pollution generated by stationary sources.
