Abstract

PARDO MANRIQUE, Román Ángel. The "human beings" and their "dignity" as bases of the bioethical science. Rev. P+L [online]. 2014, vol.9, n.2, pp.45-59. ISSN 1909-0455.

This work proposes a return to the classic meaning of the "person" category. According to the author, it means recovering the importance of the "human being" notion that has its roots in Aristotle. Alongside the "dignity" notion owed to it, the two categories are very relevant for bioethics.

Keywords : person; human being; dignity; Aristotle.
