Abstract

ECHEVERRI CANAS, LINA MARÍA. INSERTION OF GREEN MARKETING IN BUSINESS PRACTICES IN COLOMBIA: CASE STUDIES. Luna Azul [online]. 2010, n.31, pp.122-138. ISSN 1909-2474.

The approach to Green or Ecological Marketing in Colombia is at the introductory stage. Some Colombian companies, especially small and medium sized ones, have decided to start the trend of ecological practices including them in the design of new products. The Colombian Government hasn't been unaware to this tendency and it has adopted sustainability and promotion programs for ecological business practices. However, there is an asymmetry in the ecological certification process in the face of international markets. The main objective of this article is to expose a conceptualization of the ecological market from the case studies that allow the construction of a real interpretation about facts, experiences and perceptions related to the ecological market in Colombia.

Keywords : Ecological marketing; green marketing; environmental marketing.
