BLANCO BLANCO, Jacqueline; TELLEZ NAVARRO, Román Francisco  e  BOCANEGRA ACOSTA, Henry. Sexual violence against women as an element of the tactical procedure of illegal armed groups in the framework of the Colombian internal armed conflict, the problems of visibilization, prevention and care. Rev. repub. [online]. 2021, n.30, pp.125-146.  Epub 01-Ago-2021. ISSN 1909-4450.  https://doi.org/10.21017/rev.repub.2021.v30.a99.

Article product of a study on sexual violence against women in the context of the Colombian internal armed conflict. Women are often victimized as part of the actions or tactical actions of illegal armed groups, which becomes a "normalization of violence against women" that leads to the destruction of her role as mothers, wives, daughters and sisters. This research was developed with some key elements of theoretical, conceptual and historical type which are deemed necessary to address the aforementioned problem. Those elements would allow finding details as regards the offending actions and characteristics of the victims and perpetrators, as well as highlighting the actions of the State and Colombian society in prevention, care and monitoring. Given that, it could be concluded that the violent actions of a sexual nature perpetrated by armed actors in the Colombian conflict stem from a tactical procedure aimed at decimating the alleged bases of logistical and effective support of the enemies and from the public policy that reduces prevention and comprehensive care for victims, despite the institutional advances that the country has experienced in this regard.
